She had no family to call and no way to pay for the move on her own. When she fell behind on the bill, the company held everything she owned, her clothes, her photographs, every last thing, while fees kept piling up.
She called again and again, just asking to get back one box of her clothes. She was told no every time. After months of pleading, the company threw everything she owned away. Ian asked if he could bring her even one box on his own time. He was told no too. He never forgot her.
That encounter is why Mission Way Moving exists. No one should lose everything they own because they cannot afford to move.
